Where to Stash Lighting Components?

I was looking at setting up the infinity mirror Steampunk wall and it looks like it's recommended to add lights to the inside loop. I see the channel that brings the wiring through the bottom, but where do you stash the microchip and battery once it's in the connection layer? Is there still enough room for clips or risers down there? While I wouldn't want to clip to the front of the portal, I might want to add connections to the back of it. I'm also curious where these components are stashed for the smaller LED compatible hexes, like lava hexes? Also, has anyone tested the infinity mirror without the lighting? I printed the file before looking into it, so I've got a model without the wiring hole. I'm wondering if I can skip the lighting and try to add the effect with paint.

Any tips for painting the Steampunk terrain and floor tiles?

HI Guys

Any tips for how to paint the steampunk walls and tiles as seen in the kickstarter promo?

I'm sure many of us are keen to get started on it asap, it looks awesome.

Even just a basic description would be extremely helpful and appreciated.

Thanks

TST Travel and Storage Solutions

Hello, i am a huge fan of this terrain and have 3d Printed the Dungeon, Cave and Outdoor terrain. It is a huge hit for Gloomhaven nights, and i have even started bringing it to DnD nights with friends and everyone loves it, making everything feel much nore immersive. However now that i have all this terrain, my wife and i have been looking into good storage solutions for when it is not in use, something that is easily accessible so i can sift through to build scenarios.

Right now, i use a simple 3x3 cube shelf with the fabric box inserts for each theme and have the different wall pieces and tiles broken up into separate plastic bags. It is "organized" but takes a long time for me to sift through all the pieces and build up the scenario. I usually need to build everything ahead of time, whic…

Hello, i wanted to post to show what i am now currently using for a neat travel-based solution for terrain. Its not exactly super incredibly cheap by any means, but if you have the budget for 3D printing or buying this terrain i am sure this shouldn't be too crazy. I ordered this board game bag that is essentially a rectangular duffle bag and purchased some organizers from Michaels after doing proper measurements and managed to come up with a neat travel solution. I'm sure there might be some better ways that are more cost effective, but in case anyone needs some inspiration for a direction to go, i highly recommend getting a bag similar to this one and starting there.

Additionally, for ease of setup and tear down, i started the process of magnetizing the tiles. I still think I'll keep some tiles clipped to make on-the-fly rooms to throw down for DnD, but i am really digging using magnetic pieces. It really simplifies setup and brings you to the game much faster without the need to clip or unclip everything. I highly recommend magnetizing your walls and tiles regardless of wether you travel or host your Gloomhaven games.

Getting Everything...

This question may have been answered but I didn't see it anywhere. If I purchased the original all in digital set a while back, would I just buy the indoor + stretch goals set to get everything in the Complete All In set?
